When deciding on whether to build your own home or to buy, there are a number of things to take into consideration. You may be looking to buy and have not considered building, or you may be in the position where you are sold on the idea of kit homes and are looking for the right block of land. Either way, there are a few little extras you should be thinking about:
The purpose of the property
Firstly you need to think about the purpose of this real estate. Is it for an instant boost of income or for longer term growth? For a complete stress free experience you may want to lean towards building because of the low maintenance costs. You may also find that you will land yourself a better type of tenant if you plan to rent out the property.
