3. COMPLETION OF THE OWNER BUILDERS
COURSE AND REGISTRATION
You will need to get your owner builders licence and
register with the Builder's Registration Board.
The Owner Builder course will give you a general
overview of your obligations and responsibilities as
an Owner Builder.
You will need to supply council with your final drawings,
Basix (NSW) or 5 Star Energy Rating Report (VIC) and final
drawings which have been approved by a certified assessor. You might need to make some small changes to comply
with council requirements.
