Set on a narrow inner-city block,
this residence is a livable,
cost-effective home that is also environmentally friendly. Presented with a narrow site that was 10 metres wide and 23 metres long, the design had to maximise the space but also allow for a
generous garden.
At first glance the home appears
to consist of 2 connected pods,
but upon further inspection a clever combination of dark Colourbond and white weatherboard have been utilised to create a striking contrast.
The inviting living area is located
at the rear of the house and opens
onto a spacious deck and native
garden, allowing easy supervision of the children's play section from the main living room.
