WEEK 9
Preparation for laying of the floor boards, with high joins in the
particle board planed down, and the floor area cleaned. Laying the
floor takes three days longer than anyone expected, with a
continuous glue bed trowelled under the floor area laying boards
was slow. While things may have been a bit slower on the inside,
battening to the gables, and plinth boards to the base of the home
kept things running on the outside. Fixing of Architraves and
Skirting boards was started on Thursday.
